TESTNET PREPARATION

PDF Tools API

Practical PDF operations for automated workflows. Inspect documents, rearrange pages, optimize structure and manage encryption through one API.

12PDF operations
500Combined pages per request
1 hourTemporary PDF results

Your PDF workflow, one request at a time.

Send PDF uploads or public HTTPS URLs. Receive JSON containing document metadata, checks or temporary PDF download links. Every operation uses fixed, documented parameters.

Inspect

Read page count, document metadata, encryption status and structural information.

Check

Check whether a PDF can be read and report structural warnings.

Split

Divide a document into PDFs containing a chosen number of pages.

Merge

Combine multiple documents in input order into a single PDF.

Extract pages

Select unique, numbered pages and preserve the order you request.

Rotate

Rotate all pages or selected pages by 90, 180 or 270 degrees.

Optimize

Linearize for progressive viewing, or optimize PDF structure. A smaller file is not guaranteed.

Remove metadata

Remove document information and XMP metadata. This does not redact visible or embedded content.

Encrypt

Create a password-protected PDF with separate owner and user passwords.

Decrypt

Remove encryption from a document you are authorized to open with its password.

Repair

Attempt to rewrite recoverable PDF structure. Missing content cannot be recovered.

Structured results

Handle JSON responses and errors consistently; download generated PDFs from expiring HTTPS links.

Try a PDF before you integrate.

Upload a small PDF, choose an operation and inspect the JSON result.

Preparing for Pocket Network TestNet

Version 0.1.0 is in testnet preparation. Registration, supplier activation and relay validation are pending. The public Test Console uses a bounded same-origin proxy and does not send blockchain relays.

API contract: pdf-v1 · Service ID: pdf-tools. Integration requests use POST /v1/pdf. The website and result host are separate from future gateway access.

Generated PDFs are unencrypted unless you select Encrypt. This applies even when the input is encrypted. PDF rewriting invalidates existing digital signatures. Encryption does not sanitize content. Review the security and retention notes before sending documents.
